Today we will be getting out of the office and getting social! We have been invited to participate on a social media panel at an event hosted by Microsoft. It will take place at their brand new, state-of-the-art Technology Center in Malvern, Pa. We are thrilled to be included in this Women in Technology event.
The attendees will be IT managers from some of Microsoft’s key partners and business customers. These managers are working in some very large companies with marketing teams who are anxious to get on board with a social media strategy. Hopefully, we can help educate them on the benefits of social media and also ease any concerns they may have.
Specifically, we will be highlighting how social media can be an effective PR tool. By tracking and reaching out to reporters through various social media channels, your business can really enhance existing relationships with journalists and also discover some provocative story topics that can help initiate new relationships.
The other ladies who are participating are so impressive and have compelling data to share, as well as a number of social media success stories. After this session, each attendee should be well prepared to have an open dialogue with their marketing teams, so they can work together to develop a strategy that makes sense for their organization.
