We’ve always known that public relations is a powerful tool that helps companies secure venture funding. Cell Analysis (http://www.cellanalysis.com/home.asp) is just one example.
Now, a new study shows that startup companies engaging in public relations are 30 percent more likely to get funding within three months than those who do not have a PR program in place.
The study also showed that 78 percent of respondents who said PR helped in their funding efforts are planning to use a portion of their venture capital for additional public relations services.
The survey was conducted by BIGfrontier Communications Group.
