Clarus Communications Awarded Golden Trumpet Award from Publicity Club of Chicago

CHICAGO (May 16, 2011) The Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC), the premier communications industry trade association in Chicago, awarded Clarus Communications a Golden Trumpet Award at the 52nd Annual Golden Trumpet Awards, May 6 at The Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

Clarus was presented the award for its work with iPay Technologies, a Louisville, Ky.-based provider of online bill payment solutions.  iPay Technologies was acquired by Jack Henry & Associates for $300 million following a public relations effort to increase brand awareness of the company.

From community relations and special events to crisis PR and new media, Golden Trumpets recognize excellence in planning, creativity and execution in 22 categories.

“The Golden Trumpet Awards are especially important to Clarus because they are judged based on return on investment, as well as planning and technique,” said Mara Conklin, president of Clarus Communications.
